Come Alive Co.
Hi. I'm Amiee.
Integrative Wholeness Coach. Sixteen years in pastoral ministry. Strength and functional health coach. Nervous system nerd. Wife. Mom. And a woman who is doing this work in the middle of a very full, very real life.
I built Come Alive Co. for the woman I used to be — exhausted, disconnected, and holding it together on the outside while everything on the inside was asking for something real.
If any of that sounds familiar — you are in the right place.
I know what it is like to run on empty.
Not dramatically. Not in a way that announces itself. The quiet, structural kind — the kind that builds up over years when you have been giving everything to everyone and have never been taught how to receive.
For sixteen years I worked in church as a worship pastor. I loved it deeply. And I ran on empty for most of it — not because the work was wrong, but because I had never learned to tend to myself the way I tended to everyone else.
I knew the theology. I knew the right things to say about rest and grace and the goodness of God. And I could not seem to access any of it in my actual body, in my actual life, on the actual Tuesday when everything felt like too much.
I was also a wife and a mom — running a household, showing up for my kids, trying to be present for all of it while quietly running on empty underneath. The performing was not just professional. It was personal. It was the dinner table and the homeschool prep and the Sunday morning and the marriage. It was everywhere.
"Something is wrong and you know it. You have known it for a while."
That sentence used to describe my life. Not because I was failing. Because my nervous system had been running in survival mode for so long it had forgotten what safety felt like.
What changed everything was learning to come back to my body. Not as a wellness trend or a self-care strategy — as a theological conviction. The breath God gave me in Genesis 2:7 was still the pathway back to Him. The body He called fearfully and wonderfully made was not the problem. It was the location where all the real work was waiting.
I started studying. Nervous system science. Somatic experiencing through the lens of Peter Levine. Body First Healing through the work of Britt Piper. Strength training. Trauma-informed practice. The integration of faith and body that I had never found in one place.
And slowly — not dramatically, not all at once — the bones started coming alive.
Come Alive Co. is named for the valley in Ezekiel 37. Dry bones. A question: can these bones live? And then breath — entering, moving, raising an army.
That is the story of every woman who walks through this door. She comes in dry. She leaves with something real. Not fixed. Not performed. Alive.
THE EZEKIEL 37 MOMENT
What Come Alive Co. is built on.
Three convictions. Everything here flows from them.
The body is not the enemy.
She has spent years managing her body, overriding her body, performing in spite of her body. Come Alive Co. starts with a different premise: the body is where she lives. It is not a problem to be solved. It is the ground the work happens in.
The science and the scripture are saying the same thing.
The vagus nerve — the body's built-in pathway back to peace — is the same pathway the breath of God has been traveling since Genesis 2:7. Somatic practice and faith are not two tracks. They are one road.
Real transformation is slow, underground work.
Roots go down before anything comes up. Come Alive Co. is built for the long arc — a full year, four movements, the kind of change that is real enough to carry into every room she enters.
A space for effort and exhale. Both are always present.
The work is real. The holding is real.
She is always in the room.
The work behind the work.
Come Alive Co. is not built on theory. It is built on sixteen years of showing up in ministry, years of studying the body and the nervous system, and the personal experience of doing this work myself — slowly, imperfectly, and for real.

I am not a therapist and Come Alive Co. is not therapy. It is coaching, community, and somatic practice grounded in faith. If you are working through acute trauma, I will always encourage you to have professional support alongside this work.
If any of this resonated — here is where to begin.
You do not have to have it all figured out. You just have to be willing to take one small step toward yourself.
There are two doors. One is smaller. One is the whole thing. Both are open.

You just have to keep coming back.
